Discovering Marsh Chapel is a virtual tour and companion piece to an in person tour conducted by the chaplain of the Chapel. I wanted to recreate the experience of tour through the use of interactive 360 photography, interstitial video, audio recordings, and still photography. The tour has 5 segments and can be explored on linearly. In addition to recreating aspects of the original tour, it’s able to show things that are only gestured at or eluded to in the original tour. Such as the tower that was supposed to be build where Storrow Drive runs, Howard Thurman at the pulpit, or the monument out front coming to life some day.
